Patience #315
Patience is a good thing, but it is learned. It is something we all go through in different ways. I sometimes think the more we let go of, the more patience we’ll have.
If we take a look at the Fruits of the Spirit, you will have patience as you harvest the fruit. If you have peace, you won’t be so impatient. If you have joy, you’re more than likely to have patience. If you have faithfulness toward your significant other and definitely God, you’ll have patience. If you have self-control, you can control your patience.
Saints and Demons
As of late I’ve come to realize there are demons with different characteristics. It came to my attention when my wife asked me how I could fight demons in others, but cannot beat the demons who try to become personal with me.
To date I’ve only had discernment of other’s demons, and although I know they are there, I did not realize there was a difference between their’s and my own. My own demons attack in a different way
I’ve found personal demons are just that…..personal. They know you from inside, they’ve always been there. They are cunning, sneaky, underhanded and wanting to steal, kill and destroy.
The fault is they know you; personally, so they slide in when you’re not looking and by the time you see them working near you, they’ve already started wreaking havoc, and oh they love wreaking havoc. They have eternity, so they do not care how long it takes to “work their way in”. They are cunning, sneaky, underhanded and wanting to steal, kill and destroy
I sometimes feel there isn’t anything I can do about them. They just “appear.” on the scene. Which is not reality, but appearance in THE WORLD is not what is always happening.
Some things can be spotted, watched and/or dealt with as it “appears”. You have to stay vigilant for the early warning signs, BUT if they are already at work in your life, you might have to take more drastic measures.
Even as I sit at my desk, looking at a lush forest, I can feel satan working inside to keep me from writing this.
he is real. he is waiting for you and loves to steal, kill and destroy. You have the power to overcome, to slay, to push through and although it seems tough, you will make it.
You can and will win!! See you back here soon. Please leave a comment below. Peace

As Satan Comes Knocking
The Wind is Blowing Hard
Mike Bitter says God is bold and states who He is; He is I AM. Be bold, be courageous and state who you are. Fill in the I Am with favor, with blessings, with the Holy Spirit.
God wants you to stand up and be strong, approach him with boldness and with confidence. He will take care of you. Listen for that still small voice telling you who you are. You too are a great I am. It is your choice what that I am means to you, but keep in mind your I am is much bigger in God’s eyes than it is in yours.
Faith, Hope and Love
Over and over this house was filled to overflowing with Love. I wish everyone listening could feel the Love I felt from the people who walked through the door to help. Love was not only given to us, but through our Lord and Savior we too were able to give Love, even when things were their toughest.
Faith, Hope and Love. Christian Church of Waterloo is that beacon of hope, the City on the Hill. It is also a place of solace, friendship and fellowship. A place where people can come to rest and unwind just a little bit. It’s all about love and loving our fellow person
Anxiety 201 – When Will This End?
Mike Bitter talks about what he’s been seeing with anxiety during the pandemic. He’s been seeing numerous forms of anxiety. Anxiety that sometimes leads to frustration, depression and eventually anger.
He talks about the three stages of disaster recovery that he experienced during the four day Midwest flood lockdown of 2019, then the massive months and months of cleanup. Even today the cleanup is not completed.
Current anxiety is because we’re not sure what is going on with the Coronavirus, when the scare will be over, whether we should stay in, go out, visit friends, stay away from friends.
Heck, we can’t even visit our people in the hospital when they’re sick. How lonely is that for someone who has to stay in the hospital? How incredibly frustrating it is to have someone in the hospital and not be able to visit them or comfort them.
The Armor of God Will Get You Through
Ephesians 6:10 Finally be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. God didn’t say life would be easy, but He put some things in place to help us get through life. God’s Word, the Holy Bible, points out ways to help us get through life. Mike Bitter will explain how the Armor of God is designed to keep you from harm, which is what God promises all of us in Jeremiah 29:11.
Why Jesus’ Ascension Still Matters Today
Mike Bitter talks about Jesus’ Ascension and why it is still important today. The Ascension came 40 days after the Resurrection.
Mike Bitter’s sermon is entitled “Why Jesus’ Ascension Still Matters Today.” To many people the Ascension seems like a PS to the main message of the Gospel—perhaps a convenient way for Christ to go back to heaven. But does it really matter today? And is it essential to our Christian faith? Mike walks you through this incredible story, then nicely ties it all together.
