The Pastor Who Knows Social Media Like the Back of His Hand
It does not matter whether you’re a Christian, an atheist or agnostic, I see everyone pitching in and helping. We are having to look at things differently, and that’s ok. We might not understand what God is doing, but what is He asking you to do? Where does He want you to be involved?

In my last post I talked about being in that “season.” I’ve found we go through seasons in our life. Be sure your not in a down season with Christ, the fight and all the day to day stuff you need to deal with. We’ll always be fighting for one thing or the other.
I’ve seen some pastors who should maybe to into their retirement phase of life, but for some reason they don’t, but I see incredible things happening with the ones who don’t retire. They do what my friend Frank calls “retooling” one’s self.
It’s not doing the same old thing, leave that up to the up and coming people you’ve shepherded and mentored. It’s their time.
I sometimes wonder if pastors have much of anything to retire with. So how is this problem overcome? Leave a not in the block below.

To all pastors,
Hang in there and don’t give up. We are what is making a difference in the world. Many you know will come along side you. Take them in and take care of them. They will be the people you can mentor into leading their part of the Kingdom.
It’s not easy. More than 1700 pastors are dropping out from behind the pulpit every month. Then the argument is how many are coming into the pulpit, but my thoughts are to keep the trained, the equipped in the field, guiding the troops, as it were.
You are gifted, talented, full of the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Keep preaching the Word with me. Don’t give up, The Lord has called you to be where you are for this season.

Remember the Grass
Overview: God asks us to cultivate the ground, plant seeds of righteousness, then nurture them to maturity. We all have seeds we can plant, but it’s easier to leave them in the container they came in and not do anything with the seeds we’ve been given. God can’t work His Glory if seeds don’t get planted.
Be Ready
Blessings abound when you align your life with God. You will have blessings like never before, but you have to be ready. You have to prepare for the blessings and be ready when the blessings come. I have a three step formula to pray for and receive your blessings.

This is our Christmas Pageant from 2018; Pastor Mike and Ruth Bitter’s first Christmas Pageant at Christian Church of Waterloo, Nebraska. The house was rocked!!
Wow!! Can you believe it? I’ve been the minister at Christian Church of Waterloo, Nebraska for just over a year now. My, how time flies when you’re following the light.
By now it’s pretty obvious what I’ve been up to, and most people already know that I’m at a church in Waterloo, Nebraska. It’s incredible how it happened. It was all God. Nevertheless, here I am. I want to thank everyone who’s helped over the last several years.
Our Waterloo church is the start of something bigger. We’re not sure what it is, but we know God will do something, again, that will dwarf anything we’ve seen or been through to this day.
Our plan is to build God’s Kingdom. We’re not sure our place in all this, but we’re using what we know and doing what we can to get ready for His next move. We’re concurrently moving in two different directions; connecting with rural pastors, get my sermons online.
It sounds easy, but there’s a lot of work to do. All we know is we have to reach beyond the building we call a church and start thinking like Jesus’ church which is the world. “The Church” does not exist down the block, it is the block.
The church has to be be everyone everywhere, not just in a building on Sunday morning. It’s how you talk to people, it’s what you say, it’s how you act when you think no one is looking. Guess what… God is looking.
So our goal is to get our message online and support rural pastors and help keep ministers in the pulpit and presenting the Word of God. I don’t know where this will take us, so we just stay in the light.
