Showing Numbers for Support

As we’ve previously discussed, whenever you are doing work for a business, you HAVE TO show value. Numbers don’t lie and can show your value as an employee or contractor. Be sure you know what your numbers are showing BEFORE you show them. Although you may not think your numbers are what they should be, your boss may think otherwise. You have to keep showing value and improvement. If a company is paying you $1000/mo for your Social Media efforts, you need to show at least $1000/mo payback. I have never shown $1000/mo payback for being paid $1000. More about what I DO show in tomorrow’s posting.

  8. Hello – I must say, I’m impressed with your site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs and information was very easy to access. I found what I wanted in no time at all. Pretty awesome. Would appreciate it if you add forums or something, it would be a perfect way for your clients to interact. Great job

  9. Hi there, i have just added this particular post on my facebook account and received a lot of great reactions! I believe you are really doing a good job with your website. I have got a single question though, this is a blogengine website right?

  12. @chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.

  13. Great points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t comment to blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault really , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy just reading the content .
