Yesterday we talked about the second of three parts to Social Media numbers; what are the numbers doing. It was a lively discussion about taking a close look at release lifespans and what are the numbers each release representing. Today I want to finish this series with numbers, “what makes them do what they do?” Did you ever wonder why you get better responses from one time period during the day or the other? Think about it. Do you see a correlation between the time of day and the size of the audience? Well there is a direct correlation. People have a tendency to gather at odd times during the day. Its not that it is so odd, but it is what it is. If you can identify those times of the day, you know why your hits (your numbers) do what they do. Find those times and capitalize on them.
