Referee Gets Creamed!!
Sunday, February 28th, 2010I Guess I Should’ve Known
Friday, February 26th, 2010I just opened my email and saw that my hunny sent me the blueprints of a new house. Do you think she is hinting at something???? Maybe marriage??? You know us guys, we do good at acting dumb. I asked her if she liked the layout. Now wasn’t that something dumb to say? If she didn’t like the layout, why did she send it to me? I’ve been talking about Social Media and what I see on the horizon. Remember this year’s Superbowl? Remember seeing any Pepsi commercial? You can’t because there werent’ any. Pepsi realized the value of Social Media. Why spent $25 million on an ad when you can use Social Media for less than a tenth of that amount and reach way more people. Have you seen the latest add for Pepsi? It is called the Pepsi project. Pepsi appears to be giving away the money they would have spent on advertising to……us. Cool, huh? My calendar is booked for the next two weeks with clients who are clamoring to get into the Social Media arena. Keep in mind, not many businesses are there yet. I am spinning up my clients as quickly as I can so they’ll have the lion’s share of the market. What will you be doing? More to come as I progress down the Small Business Social Media path.
Its a Comin’, Its a Comin’
Thursday, February 25th, 2010I have had so much interest in the Small Business Social Media System I’ve developed that my partner and I are thinking about producing and selling our system. It is unique in that we’ve not found anyone who’s gone beyond the front door of Social Media. Many people profess they can “tell” you how to do it, but not only can my partner and I tell you how to implement Social Media in a business environment, but we are actually doing it. We are having so much fun working with small businesses watching them grow. In our program we will talk about the businesses we’ve helped and give you examples, forms, etc. of how we did things. We don’t know how soon we will offer our system becasue we still have few things we want to prove. Let us know if you are interested in our Small Business Social Media System.
Holy Moley!!
Wednesday, February 24th, 2010Social Media Marketing is exploding!! If you are out of a job, or looking for work, you have to check out social media. Marketing is headed in the direction of social media. The train has not left the station, but the coals are hot!! I trained one of my clients on Twitter today. I showed them the ins and outs and how to apply analytics to their posts. The coolest thing I’ve found about social media is the user can get instant feedback on their product, offer, etc. If the feedback is not what they expected, the offer can be rewritten and resent….without ANY additional cost. AND you can still see how good or how bad the wording, offer, etc really is. There is so much we can do with social media and my partner and I feel we are just scratching the surface. One of my clients talked about a conference he recently attended in Chicago and how they talked about moving into social media marketing. Its coming!! If you are a business, social media….with the right people…is incredible. If you are an entrepreneur, social media should be something you take a look at.
Social Media ROCKS!!
Thursday, February 18th, 2010The more I learn about social media the more jazzed I get!! Social media is all about getting the right information into your customer’s hands. It is not about “in your face” advertising, it is about finding out what your customers want, and then giving it to them. Social media makes it so easy to find out what your customers want. All you do is provide information and watch “click through” rates. If you find one type of information your customers like more than another, keep giving it to them, or even try branching off into another similar area to see if there may be interest in the other area. The beauty of social media is you can fine-tune what you are giving your customers and get immediate feedback on how close you are to giving your customers what they want. As you fine tune information, you’ll get more and more people paying attention to what you are providing. To find out what information gets the best result I use a system called Instant Analytics, an approach I’ve been “fine tuning” for several months. Instant Analytics provides minute by minute updates of how many of your customers care about what you just sent them (click through rate). It is a must-have tool for your tool box.
